About Fees & Taxes
When you sell tickets, Stripe charges a standard processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per successful transaction. This fee is set by Stripe and applies regardless of platform. Ceez adds zero additional charge on top during the growth phase.
Sales tax is automatically calculated based on the event's location and added to the ticket price at checkout. Tax amounts are collected and reported through Stripe Tax, so you don't need to manage tax compliance yourself.
When creating a paid event, you can choose whether fees and taxes are passed to the attendee (added on top of your ticket price) or absorbed from your ticket revenue.

How long does the zero-fee growth phase last?
We are in active growth phase now and have not set an end date. Early adopters who join during this period will receive advance notice before any fee structure changes.
Do I need to connect Stripe to use Ceez?
Only if you want to sell tickets. Free events with RSVP tracking require no payment setup. To enable paid ticketing and receive payouts, connect a Stripe account through your promoter dashboard.
What payment methods are supported?
Stripe's automatic payment methods are enabled, which includes major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
What happens to the fee structure after the growth phase?
We will communicate clearly before any change. Early adopters building their audience on Ceez now will be part of that conversation. Our goal is a model that stays founder-friendly.
Is there a limit on events or ticket sales?
